About Us

We’ve been helping to develop vibrant and skilled professionals since 2007, working with authorities throughout the UK. We provide helpful practice frameworks for social and healthcare workers who serve children, young people and their families, adults, and older people.

Based in Cumbria, our training team is made up predominantly of social workers, all of whom are highly qualified, have recent practice experience and are members of BASW. We also have several ‘Experts by Experience’, who all have strong reputations as speakers and trainers nationally.

Our team are friendly and approachable, engaging, perceptive and always tuned into the needs of those they are working with. They are emotionally intelligent and charismatic and never simply ‘deliver’ coursework.

Rooted in the training needs of the social care workforce, and authored by industry experts, our online learning is designed to be educational, thought-provoking, and reflective. Our courses will help you to think deeply about how their topics link into your everyday cases and the people you work with. The interactive and supportive sessions create a space to stop and think, refreshing and acquiring skills specific to casework.

We are mindful of the challenges we have recently faced with the global pandemic, Covid-19, and we understand that training and development needs to fit in with busy lives. That’s why we have created courses which can be done wherever you are, using your laptop, tablet or phone. All of our courses are CPD accredited, so you can be sure that you are investing wisely in yourself and your development.
